The Emeraude Cruise is utterly unique in both its design and backstory. It is a revival of an old French paddle steamer; a picture of the original was found on a faded postcard by Mr Merlin, who, after many years of research, found the original owner and managed to recreate it with a keen eye to detail. The current Emeraude Cruise is a modernised version, plying the waters of Halong Bay in a style befitting the luxury of the original passengers on board.
The current Emeraude Cruise has been expanded to a limit of 80 passengers, with all rooms fitted with the most modern amenities available. We have some of the best navigational and safety systems which sit alongside wonderful vintage décor designed in the old style. Our itinerary takes you to the most interesting parts of Halong Bay.
The uniqueness of the Emeraude Cruise shines through in Halong Bay. Experience Halong Bay with your family, partner, and friends.
