The Halong Peony Cruise makes its home in Lan Ha Bay, the southern route of Halong Bay, encompassing the same limestone karsts as Halong but without the influx of tourist boats. This is a quieter way to see Halong Bay; the few cruises that operate here can often enjoy extended periods of silence during their various excursions and the Peony Cruise is no exception.

Peony Exclusive Suite

The peak of luxury on the Peony Cruise is the Peony Exclusive Suite, projecting decadence throughout its 45m2 space. The double bed in the centre of the room looks onto a wall-mounted TV above an elongated day bed. These lie next to a working desk and a wall-length window, with a large balcony fitted with sun loungers and a small dining area. A bathroom completes the room with an enlarged bathtub and a separate glass-panel shower.

The 56m2 Family Premium Deluxe Cabin with Balcony is a great space for medium-sized families or groups of 4. This is comprised of one double and one twin Premium Deluxe Cabin, joined through a door in the wall. This provides guests with two bathrooms and two balconies, along with all of the beauty of two well-designed rooms fitted with beautiful wood and artisanal touches.

A wooden floor runs beneath, matching the burnished wood of the decor and day bed by the window. The balcony opens up to provide excellent views of Lan Ha Bay stretching for miles around. The accompanying bathroom is a marvel of dark and light décor, highlighted by a bathtub beside the window.

08.30 - 08.50: A limousine bus picks the guests up at your hotel in the old quarter or at No 34 Hoa Ma, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi. (There would be an additional charge for a shuttle bus if it booked from Hanoi).
12.00: The crew members of Peony Cruises will welcome you at No.34, Tuan Chau Marina, Quang Ninh.
12.30: You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, Peony Cruises. Itinerary briefing is announced during this time.
13.00: Welcome fresh drinks, wet towels and a special lunch of fresh food and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served. You will be enchanted when decadently dining on our luxury junk. Life just doesn't get better than this! We then set sail for Lan Ha Bay - A member of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays.
Enjoy the delicious luncheon of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing delicacies while cruising along Lan Ha bay with the breathtaking scenery.
15.30: Visiting Tra Bau area where has known as an area famous for its unspoiled, poetic natural beauty and attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. This is the best time for kayaking to discover the truest beauty of the limestone islands.
Immerse yourself in the emerald green water of the bay or enjoy the Jacuzzi pool on the Peony Cruises.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
06.00: Begin the day full of energy with the Tai Chi session and enjoy the sun just rising up beyond the horizon.
06.45 - 07.15: Breakfast is served while cruising back to Gia Luan Pier. (Breakfast time maybe adjust and follow the real itinerary)
07.30 - 09.00: You will join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of stalactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.
09.30: Return to the main boat from the cave and the guests will do the cabin check out. Luggage is placed outside of the cabin.
Lunch is served at the restaurant. Settle the bar bill by the desk at the restaurant (if any)

08.00 - 08.30: The guests are transferred to a day trip boat and set sail for the further Lan Ha Bay - cruising along the peaceful and quiet nature of the bay. Or you are free to relax on cruise if you do not like to move for a day trip.
10.30 - 11.00: After reaching Viet Hai jetty, the guest will have a great experience in cycling or having a ride on an e-cart to Viet Hai village through the tropical rainforest canopy and towering limestone mountains, also surrounded by the green.
Learn about the villager’s daily life and how people built and lived in the bamboo thatched houses; the earthen walls are made of straw and mud covered with trellis, forming walls to block rain and wind.
12.15 - 13.30: Return to the day trip boat and enjoy lunch at the restaurant while the boat is cruising to the kayaking and swimming spot.
13.30: Explore the secluded and quiet lagoon by kayaks or having a swim off the boat is a great fun.
16.30: Head back to the Peony Cruises to relax. Have a soak in the Jacuzzi pool. Enjoy the music and your favorite drinks by the pool.
17.30 - 18.30: Enjoy “happy hour” on the deck and BUY ONE GET ONE FREE. Watch the sunset falling on the bay.
Attend the cooking demonstration to learn the different type of the Vietnamese spring rolls.
19.30: Dinner is served at the Peony Cruises ‘s restaurant.
21.00 - 22.00: Enjoy the nightlife of the bay from the deck. Immerse yourself in music. Taste some cocktail at the bar. Otherwise, you can go for the squid fishing with the sailors or simply relax in the room and watch Ha Long Bay from the balcony.

Definitely, you have to experience the service of Peony cruise and if it’s possible, you should go with the 3 day itinerary. Staff are professional in service, guide is knowledgeable. In particular, what we care about is the room we will stay in. It was nice and extremely comfortable. There is nothing to complain at all. Great!!!!

We love Peony cruise for what it brought for us. The service was fantastic, be created by a nice staff. Perfect room type. The only problem is all activities started too early (cause I’m not a morning person ^^) but thanks to it, we had a healthy time to relax and regenerate our energy.

We stayed on peony cruise for 2 nights 3 days and we think it’s the best way to get the best experience on Peony Cruise. Staying two nights allows you to do more excursion with more interesting activities. I mean if you have time but in case you just have to do 1-night cruise and it will still ok. Room is comfortable will fully-equipped. Food is good. Nice staff, informative tour guide. Overall really really recommend!!!!!

We did experience a 2-night on Peony Cruise and we guess that was a right choice. Peony Cruise was lovely and everything of it is perfect: informative and funny guide, friendly staff, comfortable room, delicious food and interesting activities like bike riding to the village (we loved it much). And we highly recommend to do the 2 night cruise as one would be just too short.
