Valentine Cruise

12.15 We meet the Valentine Cruise at Tuan Chau Harbour. We will board the ship and sip on a welcome drink while we explore the wonderful cabins with their fitted bathrooms.

13.15 – 14.00 Sit down for our first meal on board, a wonderful lunch. You may book a massage from this point onwards with our Cruise Manager.

14.00 – 16.00 Make sure you watch the view of the first of Halong Bay’s magical limestone karsts as they glide by the window outside.

16.00 The local folklore surrounding the Surprising Cave will be uncovered as we walk around with the guide, who will point out the most interesting parts.

18.30 – 19.00 Back on board the Valentine Cruise, we have a fun fruit carving demonstration for you, where our chef will show you the artisanal ways in which fruit can be cut into different shapes.

19.30 We have a wonderful dinner available for you tonight in our intimate dining room.

20.45 Evening activities comprise of board games and the possibility of a massage. Try squid fishing for a potentially new experience that you may not have tried before.

06.30 A Tai Chi session will be run upstairs by our resident Sifu (Tai Chi master). A light breakfast is also served at this time.

07.45 – 09.00 Heading to Titop Island, we climb off the boat and onto its relaxing sands, later taking a dip in the water or climbing the peak to the top of the island for a great view over the jutting limestone scenery and elegant red-sail junk boats of Halong Bay. 

09.00 Check out of your regal cabin once we have returned to the Valentine Cruise. You have your final opportunity to get some great snaps of the bay on the sail back to the harbour.

09.30 There will be a full breakfast to enjoy in the dining room as we are pulling into Tuan Chau harbour.

11.00 Step off the Valentine Cruise and enter our waiting lounge, where your onwards transportation will join you soon. End of your Halong Bay 2 day  1 night trip with Valentine Cruise.

12.15 We board the Valentine Cruise at Tuan Chau Harbour. Check in and receive your complimentary welcome drink as you explore your new surrounds.

13.15 – 14.00 We set sail as lunch is served in the dining room upstairs. You can book a massage service from our Cruise Manager if you desire this additional service.

14.00 – 16.00 We begin our sailing past Halong Bay’s phenomenal limestone mountain scenery as you get acquainted with the luxurious amenities onboard the Valentine Cruise. 

16.00 We head to Hang Sung Sot, translating to the Surprising Cave. We will look around its interesting interior as our guide points out the more fascinating rocks and their roles in local legend. 

18.30 – 19.00 Returning to the Valentine Cruise, we begin sailing to our overnight sleeping area. A demonstration on fruit carving will be given by our chef, who will create elaborate flowers out of apples and other fruits.

19.30 Savour the fantastic dinner served in the dining room as the moonlight reflects off the softly shimmering waters.

20.45 Take your pick of our evening activities. These include board games, squid fishing or a massage in the spa.

06.30 Head upstairs for the perfect combination of drinks and pastries, Tai Chi and Halong Bay’s flawless sunrise.

07.45 A full breakfast will be served downstairs in the dining room afterwards.

08.45 – 10.15 Transfer to our day boat so that we can head to Dark and Bright Cave by kayaking in an hour or a half.

10.30 Move to Ba Trai Dao Beaches for swimming in the crystal water and in a beautiful white sandy beach for an hour and fifteen minutes.

12.30 We have a wonderful lunch to relish back on the day boat.

14.30 We head to Halong Bay’s only pearl farm afterwards to learn about the cultivation of these precious gems in the famous bay.

15.30 We have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy life on the Valentine Cruise. Take a spot on the sundeck or have a nap after an exhausting day in your cabin. 

19.30 Head to the romantically lit dining room for a dinner under the stars of Halong Bay.

20.45 We will introduce to you our evening activities tonight. Perhaps this time you’d like to head to the bar for Happy Hour, which runs between 21.00 and 23.00.

06.30 We have one more opportunity for early risers to try Tai Chi on the top deck. Greet the new morning sun in the most energising way possible. A light breakfast will be available shortly afterwards.

07.45 – 09.00 We head to Halong Bay’s famous Titop Island, known for its wealth of activities including relaxing on the beach, swimming in the water or climbing the steps to the top of the island for a panoramic view over the immediate karst scenery of Halong Bay. 

09.00 Upon returning to the Valentine Cruise, we will check out of the cabins and head upstairs for one last chance to take photos of the amazing scenery from the sundeck.

09.30 Breakfast will be served downstairs in the dining room before we start heading back to the pier. 

11.00 At Tuan Chai Harbour, you will wave goodbye to the Valentine Cruise crew and wait in our comfortable lounge for your onwards transportation. Your Halong Bay 3 day 2 night tour with Valentine Cruise ends.
