07.30 - 08.30 We will collect you from your hotel lobby in Hanoi and transfer you across the Red River Delta for about 3.5 to 4 hours until we reach the mainland pier in Halong City.
12.00 Climbing on board the Bhaya Classic Cruise, you will receive a free welcome drink as our captain begins sailing around the vast pillars of limestone jutting dramatically out of the seabed. We head southwest through Halong Bay, looking out for the various famous islands that grace the pictures of hotel rooms in Hanoi.
15.00 Tien Ong Cave is our first destination. You can learn of the history of early human habitation in Halong Bay via a walk through this cave, which contains evidence from 10,000 years ago.
17.00 We rejoin the Bhaya Classic Cruise and settle into Happy Hour at the bar. This will be followed by a quick cooking demonstration, giving you the necessary skills to prepare Vietnamese spring rolls. Our exciting Master Chef Competition will pit passengers against each other to see who will be the best maker of spring rolls and the best fruit carver, with the winner winning special prizes. We settle in the area of Ho Dong Tien tonight.
19.00 Enjoy a beautiful dinner in our elegant restaurant. Afterwards, you have a wealth of opportunities for evening entertainment on board the Bhaya Classic Cruise. You can choose between relaxing in your cabin or on the sundeck, socialising at the bar over drinks, playing card and board games with the crew or trying nighttime squid fishing off a separate boat behind the ship.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
06.30 - 09.00 Greet the day with a boost of energy as we hold a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. This will be followed by a light breakfast or beverages, fruit and pastries.
09.30 After spending the early morning on the boat, we set sail for Cua Van Fishing Village, a garish community of fishermen living under the towering peaks of Halong Bay’s rock pillars. We will kayak, swim and meet the locals around this wonderfully unique hamlet.
9.30 - 11.00 A full brunch is laid out upon your return to the Bhaya Classic Cruise, during which we will begin our sail back to the harbour. Get the last of your snapshots and soak up the last of the rays before we reach the harbour and wave goodbye to the fantastic crew. The bus to Hanoi will drop you off around mid-afternoon time.
2.30 – 3.00 Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi. End of Halong Bay 2 day 1 night cruise itinerary.
We thank you greatly for joining the Bhaya Classic Cruise around Halong Bay. It is one our deepest wishes to be able to serve you again.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
07.30 - 08.30 Your bus and driver will meet you and take you from your hotel lobby in Hanoi to Halong Bay.
12.00 Our cruise manager will give you a quick safety briefing once you have embarked on the Bhaya Classic Cruise. After your complimentary welcome drink, enjoy a leisurely lunch as we pass the famous islets on our way to Halong Bay’s southwest corner.
15.00 We will pull up to one of the finest caves in Halong Bay; the Tien Ong Cave; a huge system of dramatic stalactites and stalagmites illuminated in colourful lights.
17.00 After a few hours at the cave, we return to the Bhaya Classic Cruise ship in time for happy hour. We will have a cooking demonstration to show you how to make traditional Vietnamese food out in the open, also featuring our Master Chef Competition where the best fruit carver will win special prizes! We will drop anchor in the Ho Dong Tien area for the night, quite possibly the best place to stay in Halong Bay.
19.00 Savour your second luxury meal on board as your guide explains the itinerary for tomorrow. Take the rest of the evening at your own pace, maybe relax with a book or join the crew for a bit of squid fishing before you head to your cabin for the night.
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
06.15 - 08.30 There will be an invigorating Tai Chi session on the top deck for the early risers. Anyone up later can join for breakfast in the restaurant while the magnificent rocks of Halong Bay scroll by past in the window.
09.00 Once we’ve transferred to the Bhaya Spirit, our day boat, we will cruise past many more famous Halong Bay islands until we arrive at the quiet Coc Cheo Islet area, where we can swim and kayak freely.
11.00 After a tour of the floating pearl farm and an educational demonstration of pearl cultivating and finery processing, we will have a very local lunch on the farm.
15.00 Transfer back to the Bhaya Classic Cruise ship and relax.
17.00 Happy hour will restart at the bar. Take a cocktail out to the deck for fantastic views of the bay.
19.00 Enjoy another lavish dinner as the sun sets over Halong Bay, followed by a relaxing evening. Take in a movie or head outside for squid fishing. Settle down for your last night on this beautiful Halong Bay junk boat.

United StatesMe and a friend went overnight to Ha Long Bay with Bhaya Cruise and were very impressed. The staff remembered our names without us even telling them, which was crazy! Me and my friend informed them that it was my birthday, so they set up a cake with roses and candles in my room. It was a great surprise! I was a big fan of the air-conditioned rooms and the shower that heated up the water super quickly. We enjoyed every activity with our caring and knowledgeable guides, especially the Surprise Cave, which was insanely beautiful. I would seriously recommend this cruise to anyone, I know there’s a lot of choice out there but Bhaya is 100% a safe bet!

United KingdomWe were a bit overwhelmed with the choice of cruises but were so happy to settle on Bhaya, which we thought was perfect for us. The staff were so warm and friendly throughout, and the activities were so much fun! We got so much accomplished in our 3 days here in terms of activities; we went kayaking and around a cave and a fishing village with Mr Linh as our amazing tour guide. He ensured that we reached the destinations at their quietest times, giving us a much more private experience, all down to his knowledge! There was just us and six other guests, so the whole cruise felt like a private adventure, which is mostly what we wanted. This cruise was everything I imagined and far beyond it. It was well-organised with great staff, delicious food and a comfortable cabin, I really couldn’t have asked for any more. Thanks to each and every member of the staff for giving us such a great time in Halong Bay!

Joel and the crew helped us to have such a great time on the Bhaya Cruise. He was so brilliant! He really cared about each passenger and was so happy to help them in any way that he could! We did some kayaking, some cave exploring and did a trip to a floating village. None of these were compulsory of course, and you can spend time to relax on the boat if you want, but we were so glad that we chose to do them! We had Sam, Alice and Lily to guide us; they knew a lot and it was fun to learn about Halong Bay from them! We had the Long Quan Suite, which was crazy. So much time was spent out on that balcony. The food was 100% fine dining, and absolutely amazing! It was both my birthday and me and my husband’s honeymoon, so the crew gave us a complimentary cake and cocktails as well, which was so sweet of them! This was the highlight of our honeymoon trip to Vietnam, perfect in every way thanks to Bhaya!

We jumped on the Bhaya Classic 1 (Mr. Tom was our manager) and had a good time. All the services and the activities were great. We did some kayaking and some swimming around the boat. The chef showed us how to make spring rolls and we did this afterward. The food was very nice. The cabin and the bathroom were very nice too. They provided wifi on the third floor. The signal was okay sometimes but it cut out a lot, though I understand that this wasn’t their fault. Lots of drinks at the bar. Happy Hour was Buy 1 get 1. Amazing view from the sundeck. Very nice staffs as well.

IndiaI booked a 3D-2N cruise with Bhaya Classic and have absolutely no regrets. It was a really clean boat, first and foremost, and you can tell that they took special care of all of the 5-star facilities as well as the guests. We got a Vietnamese tea every time we returned to the boat, which helped the feeling of hospitality a lot. There were so many options available for breakfast and lunch, and the chef made delicious vegetarian food for us despite being the only two on board with a special diet. The 1+1 drink offer at the bar was great, so we made full use of it. We were kept busy with the itinerary but there was still a lot of time for relaxation as well. We went to the cave, floating village and around the mountains in a kayak. We had a cooking competition and Tai Chi on board, which were great group exercises.Bring some comfortable clothing for the excursions. We were impressed with Bhaya Cruise’s attitudes to the environment and trying to keep it as clean as possible. The staff were very accommodating of any special requests and always performed their jobs with a smile. Great cruise.
