We were two 29 year olds from America and we joined the Dragon Legend Cruise when Long was on shift, so we think we got lucky here! He was a very friendly and engaging tour guide.Every little thing was just wonderful – from the pick up to the decorations and the focus on the customer’s enjoyment. It’s a very clean cabin on arrival. Really nicely decorated and spacious with a powerful AC and wonderful en suite. Loads of great places to relax on the boat, including the fantastic sun deck. We enjoyed the activities, especially the kayaking as we really got a chance to get out and touch the rocks that we’d be gazing at for so long. Along with the fantastic Long, we had good times and banter from the rest of the crew. We were very impressed with them and especially the housekeeper, Phoung, who produced some beautiful sounds during the musical performance at night. Tuan was the cook and he nailed a very tasty menu with lots of Vietnamese and fusion food.At the last minute, we decided to go to Cat Ba island, so we didn’t get the return bus back to Hanoi. Not only did the crew give us information on how to do that, the company then refunded us part of the cost of the trip for not using the bus service! Also, I accidentally left a very expensive water bottle on the boat and they returned it to me in Hanoi without a fuss. Excellent customer service – you should be proud, Dragon Legend Cruise!

Such a fantastic cruise. I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t that high level! The crew went far beyond my expectation. I thought they would be there just to serve me but I spent a lot of time chatting to them and sharing jokes. My wife had to pull out at the last minute because she was ill, but she was adamant that I came on my own anyway, so I did. The crew were very sympathetic when they heard this and put in a special effort with me, keeping me in great company for the whole cruise. Thank you Long, Milkman and the rest of the crew for your efforts! The activities were really well planned and fun. We took some kayaks out, did some light hiking through a cave, went to a lovely beach and did some swimming. All very nice. The food was so tasty, and I really enjoyed the musical performance during the dinner, which I wasn’t really expecting, but Phong played the most beautiful traditional instrument. Cabins were also very nice and roomy.Thank you everyone for this excellent trip. I will return to the Dragon Legend with my wife, for sure.

VietnamThis has got to be one of the best cruises in Halong Bay – they surely can’t all be this good! We had a great transfer to the waiting lounge and saw the boat for the first time, sitting majestically in the bay. Onboard were the most fantastic crew member, who stopped at nothing to make sure that we were happy and satisfied with the service – and we always were!Large spacious rooms with wonderful detailing in the décor and the perfect en suite with bathtub and open view from the window. Upstairs there’s plenty of sun loungers and even a swimming pool. The smiles never left the faces of the friendly and hilarious staff. They were a joy to be around and added a great atmosphere to the place. Great planning in the itinerary, but I felt the acitivities were a little short. We went kayaking and looked round a cave, but both were quite short, and there was no opportunity for swimming or relaxing on the beach. This wasn’t much of a problem as it just meant more time to spend on the gorgeous boat, so we weren’t complaining!Total value for money. An incredible cruise – thanks Dragon Legend!

United StatesWhat a great experience it is, to be in Bai Tu Long Bay with the Dragon Legend. It was such a perfect time out on that beautiful boat.Even 4 months before I arrived in the country, I was already getting some great customer service from the booking team as they helped me out with all of my enquiries and gave me lots of information of their own. I thought I’d died and gone to heaven when I stepped into that cabin, it was simply stunning!Despite the top-rate facilities on board, the best part about the cruise is the people. My special commendations go to Harry Potter and Jack Daniels – both were awesome dudes to hang out with and both gave me a very professional service throughout. The rest of the crew were brilliant as well, they always take the time to say hello and help you out with things. The food was out of this world – that chef sure is one talented guy! Speaking of talent, there was a very entertaining musical performance put on during dinner by the crew. I’ve been around the block a bit now but this is certainly one of the best experiences of my life. I can’t thank the Dragon Legend team enough for making it so special!

IrelandIt’s been a feature of my bucket list for a while, as it should be with everyone’s, so I was very glad to step onto the deck of the Dragon Legend for the first time to begin the adventure. We actually went to Bai Tu Long Bay in the end but apart from the fewer boats, there’s no discernible difference in appearance.Everyone aboard the Dragon Legend ensured that I had the best time possible. Coco and Long were just so great in their friendliness and helpfulness. It was a joy to see them every time on the boat and it seemed like a genuine joy for them to see us as well!Great activities overall. Loved the kayaking and the visit to the cave, but really the best thing to do there is claim a sun lounger and just gaze across the wonderful bay. We spent most of our time doing that and we loved every minute of it.Thank you everyone at Dragon Legend for ensuring I can cross this off my list with a big grin on my face!
